The Division of Burn Surgery is a composite of the Burn Special Care Unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and the Shriners Hospitals for Children - Cincinnati. The mission of the Burn Division is to minimize the devastation of burn injuries and enhance the patient’s potential and quality of life. Family-centered and holistic burn care of the highest quality is provided. The Division of Burn Surgery stimulates and sponsors research in burn prevention, treatment and rehabilitation, and provides leadership and education in the management of burns.
