The Division of Cardiac Surgery performs a wide variety of operative
procedures in adult patients with cardiac and vascular diseases,
including state-of-the-art treatments such as off-pump coronary
revascularization, left ventricular assist device (LVAD) insertion, and heart transplantation
for severe heart failure. We also specialize in all arterial myocardial
revascularization and mitral valve repair. An additional focus is
the treatment of adults with congenital heart disease.
We actively collaborate with our colleagues
in Adult Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. A broad array
